Vegan dish for fasting

2 Cups Garbanzo Beans
1/2 Cup Grated Walnuts
1 Small Red Onion, Finely Chopped
1 Teaspoon fresh Basil, Finely Chopped
1 Hot Red Pepper
Salt to Taste


1. Cook garbanzo beans until fully cooked.
2. Drain and Mash well. Set aside to cool at room temperature.
3. Mix grated walnuts with garbanzo mixture.
4. Add salt, pepper and chopped basil.
Note: You can substitute white beans for garbanzo beans.
