1 Gallon Whole Milk
4 Tablespoons Fresh Homemade Yogurt or Commercial Unflavored Yogurt (starter)
1. Heat milk to just before boiling, then cool till drops on your wrist feel warm.
2. Add starter and whisk till smooth.
3. Pour liquid into large bowl and cover with blanket/towels, leaving undisturbed for 6-10 hours.
4. Yogurt is ready when it retains the impression of your finger or a spoon pressed into surface. The longer the yogurt is left to set, the more sour it will become.
